Statement from Lucy Dilworth, Foreperson 2019-2020 Marin County Civil Grand Jury:
Since March 2020, the 2019-2020 Marin Civil Grand Jury has worked entirely remotely but despite this it continues to function in its role as an independent watchdog that monitors the operation of local government. While our term began on July 1, 2019, and would normally have expired on June 30, Presiding Judge Andrew Sweet has decided to extend it through December 31, 2020, to ensure that the work can be completed.
