The Communication and Membership committee is very proud to announce the launching of an entirely new and revamped Chapter website. We have been extremely fortunate to have Alan Schaevitz act as our Webmaster. He had been instrumental in remodeling the Marin Coalition’s website and was recruited by Nadine Muller to rebuild ours. Alan volunteered countless hours to the task working closely with the committee to update the site and to provide new features.
The new site has a fresh and clean appearance and is much easier to navigate than the previous site. Among the improvements is a comprehensive “Member’s Area tab” which includes archived Grand Jury reports as well as IRC follow-up reports, a new updated calendar, committee descriptions and a Members Home Page with news and events. In addition, the “About Us” tab includes an updated history of the Chapter, how our organization is structured and an overview of the CGJA, our parent organization. The revised applications for both the Civil Grand Jury and the Chapter are easily accessible throughout the site.
Special kudos to Nadine Muller, Committee Chair, who worked tirelessly to push this along and gets the credit for recruiting Alan. Other committee members who should be recognized for their work on the site include Janeko Bower, Rich Treadgold, Ron Brown, Bruce Bartel, Wanda Sarti and Tom Borden.
