The Chapter has learned of the passing of Laura Effel in early November of last year. Laura was a Lifetime Member and involved to various Chapter activities. During her 2012-2013 jury year, she was known for her clear, direct writing honed by years of work as a litigator on Wall Street, being great to work with, and having super intelligence with a sense of humor. Laura battled cancer which she recounts in her workplace Chase Alumni Association.
