Marin’s 2024-25 Civil Grand Jury ended its term with the release of three new reports.
The June 24 report, The Worrisome Future of Marin Housing NIMBY Resistance Takes a Backseat to Economic Reality, is on the economic barriers to building new housing in Marin with recommendations to the Board of Supervisors.
The June 27 report, Who’s Minding the Store?, focuses of lax public oversight of Marin’s 62 special districts and recommends better oversight of required financial information and updating of district websites.
The final report of June 27 is One Hand to Shake, Follow-up to the 2023-2024 Grand Jury Report “Cyber Preparedness: Are We There Yet? a follow-up report on cyber security in Marin’s local governments.
