California’s Constitution requires its 58 counties to have Civil Grand Juries to investigate residents’
complaints and concerns involving how public money is spent and to increase responsiveness,
transparency, and effectiveness.  If you are concerned about how issues are handled, or not
handled, by the county, cities, towns and local agencies, want to investigate current issues in Marin,
and offer actionable recommendations to departments and entities within the county and
municipalities, this could be a volunteer opportunity for you.
